Spencerian I
I would like to share with you all that I have learned regarding Spencerian but that would take a longer class. This class is for the individual who would like to take a dip with their pen and learn the fundamentals of Spencerian.
We will learn about the history of Spencerian Script, hand and arm exercises, letter formation and exercises for you to practice

Supplies:
- Oblique penholder
- Straight penholder
- Nikko G or Zebra G nibs
- Old World Ink, Ziller Ink, McCaffrey Ink, Higgins Eternal (these inks are listed in order of preference. These inks all give wonderful hairlines and can be used on most papers successfully. If you happen to have different ink and would like to use it please contact me.)
- Pencil (Yoro pencil or Yoro pen is helpful in practicing letter forms before dipping ink. Also quite convenient when pen and ink is not possible for practice. These are optional if you have them bring them. Otherwise a regular pencil is needed. )
- Old soft bristle tooth brush (to clean your nibs)
- Small travel size tube of regular toothpaste (to clean your nibs)
- Dinky dip or similar (to hold small amounts of ink. This is optional but if you have them please bring it to class)
- Layout paper
